A grown up backpack with Nadia Minkoff – Love Food, Love Fashion
I am sorry for not posting this yesterday. I’m going to be changing my schedule to Wednesday and Thursday for a mid week burst of fun of Love Food Love Fashion going forward. Personally, I prefer Tuesdays but my hectic work schedule is not allowing me the time to get good quality content out in time. Life is about adaptation, so lets see how a midweek post frenzy goes!
There comes a time in your life when you want to adopt a more grown up style. Fashion is ever evolving but there are just certain pieces you love to wear and buy on repeat. On the other hand, there are some pieces that you let go of and never look back. The first place that went under review was my bag collection and as I’ve gotten older, its all about practicality. I love a bag that looks incredible and serves its purpose. I bought into the whole backpack trend a few years ago, but after my giant sized one, lost shape and started to become “dysfunctional” i.e. I was carrying it rather than wearing it on my back, I quickly went back to my beloved shoulder and bucket bags. My boyfriend keeps telling me “you need to get a backpack”, but I kept resisting until recently when Nadia Minkoff got in touch. Their Brixton Backpack is a beautiful, soft, grainy leather and is such a lovely size (stopping me carrying the world and his wife). There is something to be said about a beautiful handbag that is functional, it a bit like finding the 4 leafed clover of bags. Stylish and functional; with a drawstring and a double magnet for security in the busy streets of London, I see this being my new everyday, get-up-and-go bag this summer!
